Craft beer and food in Bend

Bend is known for beer. This page gives the facts and the official guides. We do not rank or recommend individual breweries or restaurants.

The scale of the scene

Wikipedia reports that Bend had more than 30 breweries and four hard cider companies as of 2024. Counts change as places open and close, so use the official guides below for the current list.

The Bend Ale Trail

Visit Bend, the city's visitor bureau, runs the Bend Ale Trail. Its pages say a free paper passport is available at the Bend Visitor Center and that a free web app can be used to check in. Prizes are offered for each completed territory of the trail, with a bonus for finishing all seven. Visit Bend says no purchase is required for a stamp or check-in, that the trail has no deadline, and that minors cannot complete a passport. Visit Bend also runs a Bend Ale Trail Month in November. Rules and prizes change, so read the current trail page before you start.

Statewide

The Oregon Brewers Guild is a nonprofit, founded in 1992, that promotes and protects Oregon craft beer through advocacy, education and events. Its site has a brewery finder.
